Lyon(s) Families Association

Our first newsletter, “The Lyon’s Tale”, was published in 1951. The newsletter was annual until 1964 when it became a quarterly publication. The newsletter contained messages from the organization’s officers, genealogies, vital statistics, family histories, queries, tips on research, and lots of additional information. Due to changing technology, the newsletter transitioned from being physically mailed out to an email only format. We also created this website and eventually a Facebook group.

In 2024, the officers of the LFA decided to end the quarterly newsletter. The final edition was sent out in June of 2022.
